1. Your right to return
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have 14 days from the date of receiving your Kart-Cap® to cancel your order for any reason, no questions asked. To initiate a return, email hello@kart-cap.co.uk with your order details.

2. Condition of returned items
Items must be returned unused and in their original condition and packaging. You have 14 days from notifying us to send the item back. We reserve the right to reduce the refund if the item shows signs of use beyond inspection.

3. Return postage
Return postage is the responsibility of the buyer unless the item is faulty or damaged on arrival. We recommend using a tracked service as we cannot be responsible for items lost in return transit.

4. Faulty or damaged items
If your Kart-Cap® arrives damaged or develops a fault under normal use, we will replace or refund it in full, including return postage. Please email us with photos and a brief description of the issue. Your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 are not affected.

5. Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned item. Card refunds typically clear within 5 to 10 working days depending on your bank.

6. Non-returnable items
Items that have been fitted, modified, or damaged through misuse or racing incidents are not eligible for return under this policy, though statutory rights for faulty goods still apply.

1. Who we are
Kart-Cap® is a sole trader business based in the United Kingdom. For the purposes of UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, the data controller is the proprietor of Kart-Cap®. Contact: hello@kart-cap.co.uk.

2. What data we collect
When you place an order, the following information is collected through our payment processor:

• Name
• Billing and shipping address
• Email address
• Payment card details (processed directly by Stripe, never stored or seen by us)

When you contact us by email, we receive your email address and any information you choose to share.

3. How we use your data
We use your data only to:

• Process and fulfil your order
• Arrange delivery
• Respond to your enquiries
• Meet legal and accounting obligations (e.g. retaining records for HMRC)

We do not send marketing emails and we do not share your data for marketing purposes.

4. Who we share your data with
Your data is shared only with the following third parties, strictly for order fulfilment:

• Stripe: payment processing. See stripe.com/gb/privacy.
• Royal Mail or courier service: delivery of your order.
• Our email provider: receives and stores the emails you send us when you contact us.

5. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies, analytics, or tracking of any kind. No data is collected about your visit.

6. How long we keep your data
Order and transaction records are retained for six years to comply with HMRC requirements. Email correspondence is retained for up to two years unless you request otherwise.

7. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

• Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request erasure of your data (subject to legal retention requirements)
• Object to processing
• Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk)

2. These terms
These are the terms and conditions on which we supply Kart-Cap® products to you. By placing an order you agree to be bound by them. Please read them carefully before ordering.

3. Products
Product images and descriptions are provided in good faith. Minor variations in appearance or finish may occur due to manufacturing processes. Kart-Cap® is supplied in two variants (V2 Righetti Ridolfi and V2 KG), plus limited-stock V1 sale units. You are responsible for selecting the correct variant for your tank.

4. Price and payment
Prices are in GBP and displayed on the website at the time of order. We are not currently VAT-registered; no VAT is charged. Payment is taken in full at checkout via Stripe. Your order is accepted only once payment has cleared.

5. Delivery
UK delivery is free and typically dispatched within 2 to 3 working days of cleared payment. International shipping is available on request and priced individually. Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. Risk passes to you on delivery.

6. Your right to cancel (Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013)
You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the item, for any reason. To cancel, email hello@kart-cap.co.uk with your order details. You must return the item within 14 days of notifying us. Return postage is your responsibility unless the item is faulty. Items must be returned unused and in original condition. A full refund will be issued within 14 days of us receiving the item.

7. Faulty or damaged items
If your Kart-Cap® arrives damaged or develops a fault within a reasonable period, you are entitled under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 to a repair, replacement, or refund. We will cover return postage in these cases. Please contact us with photos and a brief description of the issue.

8. Warranty
Kart-Cap® is warranted against defects in materials and workmanship for 12 months from the date of delivery under normal use. This warranty does not cover damage from misuse, modification, or racing incidents.

9. Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to the price paid for the product. We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses including but not limited to loss of race time, damage to kart or engine components, or inability to compete. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

10. Intellectual property
Kart-Cap® is a registered trademark. The design, branding, and website content are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. No part may be reproduced without written permission.

11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
